I Built RunTinTin for Dogs Like Yours, and People Like Us.
I’m Nico, the person behind the wheel at RunTinTin. I created this service out of necessity. For the dogs who are too much for daycare, too wired for walks, and too smart to be bored. And for the people who love them but are running out of answers.
“I didn’t plan to start a business. I just needed a solution that didn’t exist.”
Years ago, I found myself living with a dog who wasn’t responding to the usual fixes. Longer walks made him more amped up, daycare overstimulated him, and training classes didn’t address what was happening under the surface. He was a dog with too much drive, no outlet, and a nervous system that couldn’t settle.
I tried everything. But what finally shifted things was introducing structure. Real structure. I started using a slat mill, and for the first time, I saw a release of energy that didn’t lead to reactivity afterward. He was calmer, clearer, and less frustrated. And so was I.
That one change reshaped how I approached everything with him. I realized this wasn’t just a solution for my dog. It was a missing piece for so many others.
RunTinTin was built to offer dogs exactly that structured solo movement in a calm, mobile setting. And a break for the people who care about them the most.
“What makes us different is what we don’t do. No chaos. No overstimulation. Just structure, movement, and clear expectations. That’s where the real change starts.”
What RunTinTin Is & Isn’t.
We are:
- Structured solo dog running sessions
- Mobile, we come to you
- One-on-one attention in a climate-controlled trailer
- Safe, consistent, and trainer-informed
- A calm, grounded service for dogs with energy, anxiety, or reactivity
We’re Not:
- A group walk or pack play program
- A daycare drop-off
- A training or behavior modification service
- A quick fix
- A fit for dogs with active aggression toward humans
Why This Works.
Most people assume tired equals calm. So we try to wear our dogs out with playdates, dog parks, long walks, and mental stimulation toys. But for many dogs, especially high-drive, anxious, or reactive ones, it doesn’t work. What they need isn’t more hype. Its structure.
Slat mill sessions give dogs a predictable, focused outlet. They get to run without over-arousal, chase games, or social pressure. No pulling, barking, or dodging traffic. Just movement, rhythm, and release. Because it’s solo and mobile, there’s no commute, no distractions, and no added chaos. When movement is intentional, everything changes.
About Nico
“I don’t call myself a dog trainer…”
But I’ve worked around dogs long enough, and worked through enough of my struggles, to know what’s missing.
I’ve spent years observing structured behavior work, shadowing great trainers, and living with dogs who forced me to figure things out the hard way. I’ve seen what happens when overwhelmed owners are told to “just walk more,” or when reactive dogs are dropped into chaotic daycares and expected to thrive.
RunTinTin is the result of all of that. The failures, the lessons, and the slow rewiring of what we think dogs actually need.
I’m not here to fix your dog. I’m here to give them the kind of outlet that makes everything else easier. And if that means giving you a break, a breather, or a moment of quiet at home? Even better.
